The Golden Bears and Pandas summer camps provide an opportunity for participants to be involved in a positive soccer environment that promotes technique and skill development, teamwork, healthy competition, and most of all, FUN!

 

Summer soccer camp coaches include both current and former Golden Bears and Pandas soccer coaches and players, many of whom have national team, provincial select team, and Alberta Major Soccer League experience, along with appropriate coaching certification. 

The Summer Soccer Camps are a great place to start for the younger soccer player under the age of 10. This 5-day camp features 15 hours of instruction in a number of practice activities and games that have proven to help young soccer players learn – whilst allowing them to have fun. Its fun because the kids get plenty of touches on the ball; they develop the basic skills of soccer while learning the essential skills of team play.

 

The Summer Soccer Camp experience is primarily aimed at the under 10 age group and seeks to provide a FUN experience and high ACTIVITY level whilst engaging participants in games and activities that have proven to develop soccer techniques and skills.

 

Boys & Girls Soccer Camps (6-10 years old)

 

For the more experienced player, the Advanced Soccer Camps are 5-day camps with 20 hours of instruction in a series of proven practice drills and games that are designed progressively to develop technical skills and tactical awareness. Participation in the camp will ensure that all players are introduced to a tremendous amount of technical information and practice opportunities that will make their future soccer playing much more rewarding.

 

The Advanced Camp is for the 10-16 age groups and provides a more structured learning environment with more FORMAL INSTRUCTION and CHALLENGE provided whilst participants are engaged in practices and tactical games that have been proven to further develop soccer techniques and skills whilst increasing tactical understanding and game awareness.

All camps are conducted at the Campus Saint Jean soccer facility that is located at 8406 – 91 Street.

All soccer players receive a Golden Bears and Pandas Summer Camp T–shirt and a comprehensive player evaluation.
